Derrick is an award winning director, producer, photographer and actor based in Los Angeles. He is the executive producer and director of the journalistic documentary web series Tom Explores Los Angeles as well as a prolific video producer having created serialized, branded and editorial content for companies like TBWA\Chiat\Day, Buzzfeed, Mashable, Jukin Media, EA Sports, Meta, The Players Tribune and Hauser & Wirth.

Derrick also co-directed and wrote the short film Barking in 2019. His most recent work can be seen in the romantic comedy feature film Peak Season, which had its worldwide premiere at SXSW Film Festival and won 1st prize at Film Fest Knox.
